Root & Reboot founder Jaide Izon is a registered and insured practitioner through the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. She is accredited through the NHPC to conduct Foot Reflexology, Chakra Therapy & Raindrop Therapy.
Before beginning her career in alternative health & wellness, Jaide was a public speaker and writer, providing speeches and talks on alternative educational and career paths, conferences for women and minorities speaking toward resiliency and mental health. She has delivered these talks at various venues and events, including Grant MacEwan, The UofA, "Take Back The Night" & "Speak out for S.A.C.E" hosted by The Sexual Assault Center of Edmonton. Jaide has had the pleasure of working with high school kids through The Center for Race & Culture, aiding kids to step out of their shells through creative means and enhance their public speaking skills, as well, allied with not for profit organizations like the CSAA to advocate for families in distress from child sexual abuse. She is accredited with the "Prevent It" course with the Little Warriors Foundation, working to prevent childhood sexual abuse and has her Mental Health First Aid certification through St Johns Ambulance, which allows her to recognize, appropriately identify and intervene in situations where people are in a mental health crisis.
Her journey into health and wellness began like many others, with personal history and experience. After working with many people in states of crisis, it led her to want to contribute natural means of relaxing and healing the body, recognizing common themes in lack of self-care and imbalances of limiting negative self-beliefs amongst those she had worked with. Through her journey discovering the meaning of self-care and the struggles of long term toxic stress to the body and brain connection, it became clear the work for her was not only to be done in educating but in having a hands-on approach to rebalancing the body and mind through meditation, physical touch and through holding space while aiding others in rebalancing their energetic fields. Years of study into metaphysical practices and energy healing, as well courses taken on the subtle energy fields, eventually lead her to start providing one on one intuitive council to those seeking more understanding about shadow work, energy systems, and how they directly affect our everyday lives and anatomy. She became fascinated with the body and brain connection, leading her to take the World Fusion Reflexology schooling, obtaining her certification for balancing Chakras and becoming a Meditation Teacher. Jaide has been practicing energy work for several years and has been a certified Reflexology Therapist since 2018. She has been educating and public speaking since 2010 and created her series of workshops based on educating people on meditation, self-care, resiliency, as well, in the subtle energy field with in-depth explanations of the Chakra Systems and their correlation to our physical body and the reality around us in which we are creators.
The goal is to uplift the world through spreading light, love, and knowledge, helping people to reconnect, root, and ground into their bodies while rebooting the system to achieve optimal vitality through means personalized to you.
